世界工业设计大会是由中国工业设计协会联合30多个国家和地区的设计组织、机构、企业以及院校等发起的世界设计产业发展会议。
大会成员共同探讨世界范围内设计发展的引导思想和思维模式，携手推动设计创新，充分惠及经济发展、社会进步以及人类文明的可持续发展。大会积极倡议各国政府、企业、教育和研究机构共同汇聚产业、人才、金融、学术等资源，建立无国界设计创新资源共享平台，以设计智慧贡献于全球，让世界变得更温暖。
